Art with a therapeutic intention both enlivens and relaxes young patients, parents, and caregivers. Four hallway murals bring archetypal regional landscapes inside. A collection of paintings on panels provide welcome and warmth to the waiting area and reception counter. All childrens' rooms are personalized with a lively stenciled border on an accent color wall. The 12-unit inpatient facility in St. Vincent's new East Tower is Washington County's first for pediatric care.
